Gnossiennes no. I, Erik Satie - arranged for easy piano

An easy piano version of the first of Erik Satie's wonderful Gnossiennes.Designed for the early piano pupil (ABRSM grade 2- 3) as an introduction to the classic piano piece. The right hand has to change position as the melody covers more than a simple 5-finger position; the LH has three root position triads - F minor, C minor, and Bb minor - but technically, there is nothing demanding.

This arrangement is one of many in Len's "Introduction to Classic Piano for the Young Pianist" series, where significantly simplified classic piano literature comes to life for the younger player who is not quite proficient to advance to the actual composition. These arrangements are not intended to be the complete piece, but are arranged to INSPIRE the younger pianist to pursue their studies in order to achieve the realization of performing the "real piece!"

All three "Trois Gnossiennes" are available in a piano duet transcription - the upper part is level (ABRSM grade 3) - as a single download. Search "Satie - Trois Gnossiennes"on this site - cheaper than buying these individually!
