Claude Debussy’s Clair de lune, his third and most famous movement in 1890 Suite bergamasque, was inspired by a poem written by French poet Paul Verlaine in 1869.
An easy introduction to this wonderful Debussy piece; in C (rather than the original key of five flats). The parallel thirds in each hand are an introduction to a necessary technique. Suitable for the 2nd/3rd year pianist - this is one of Len's many arrangements that serve to introduce the great masterpieces to the pupil at the earliest opportunity!
