Better known as 'Air on the G String', this piece has been arranged for oboe and piano by Len Rhodes. Written in Leipzig, circa 1729-1731, and originally scored for three trumpets, two oboes, strings and basso-continuo, Bach's 'Air' works beautifully for solo oboe and supporting piano accompaniment.
