Carols included are Gabriel's Message (Basque Carol), Song of the Crib (15th century German Carol, "Joseph Dearest, Dearest Mild"), Coverdale's Carol (originating in West Yorkshire c.1546), Sussex and Hereford Carols, and Gloucestershire Wassail. The settings feature contemporary stylings, harmonies and techniques.
