A thorough approach to chromatic scales. Scales in parallel (similar) motion, and contrary motion starting from every note of the chromatic scale. Hands beginning an octave apart, as well as a 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. apart. A great way to gain confidence both technically and musically. With hands an augmented 4th apart, for example, these exercises also develop an aural awareness of unique intervals in parallel motion!
